South Korean Medium-Speed Paper Cup Machine produces paper cups with volumes ranging from 1 oz to 42 oz (30 ml to 1240 ml). Using cupstock paper coated on one or both sides with polyethylene (PE), weighing between 150 and 350 g/m², these machines manufacture disposable paper or cardboard cups suitable for hot or cold beverages. You can produce high-quality paper cups with PE-coated cupstock, cupforma, Bristol paper, as well as bio-based paper and PLA-coated paper.

After the printing and cutting processes are completed on the cup paper, the pre-prepared cup bottom roll is loaded into the cardboard cup machine to start production.

The cup side paper and bottom paper are shaped and joined using heat or ultrasonic welding techniques. First, the side is formed, then the bottom, and finally the top rim curling is done. The finished paper cup is then transferred to the stacker and counter unit.

The speed of the cardboard cup machines varies depending on the paper weight per square meter. For example, with 150–220 g/m² paper, the machine speed can reach up to 80 cups per minute, while with 250–300 g/m² paper, the speed may drop to around 70 cups per minute.
